Doctor Shuttleworth was perfect in every way, friendly, reassuring, to the point, and even humorous. I wasn't too pleased to have go private (due to the cost) and although it was an essential operation I could have waited as the situation would not have worsened too quickly. However, due to the pandemic, I had no idea exactly how long this wait would be and I wanted it 'sorted' for my own peace of mind. He did explain this very clearly to me-and did not try to push me into spending my hard earned money at all-it was my choice. The actual operation was painless, and dealt with efficiently- and the aftercare was excellent too. I would also like to mention the fantastic nursing staff who made me feel at ease and did everything to ensure I was looked after. Thank you and well done!

It was such a pleasure to meet and be treated by this man. No nonsense no airs and graces just got on and treated me. Even went further than I expected. Would have no qualms if I need to see him again.

I’ve been a patient of David Shuttleworth for years - he’s a straightforward practitioner with no frills and is not without charm. My family swear by him and cannot fault his diagnosis - he’s been at it a long time and may that continue to be the case; it is very easy to complain but I’m sure there are many, who would contradict the negative reports

Went to see Dr shuttleworth privately at the oaks due to my GP failing to find a reason behind my health condition. Spent 10 mins in with Dr shuttleworth who quickly examined me and confidently said it was urticiara, not convinced I explained that my rashes only came on certain parts of my body and would come up and go down again , this had been going on for a few months and I had been fine until then . He said that there was nothing he could do i have it for life . Not convinced but thought his the expert left the appointment feeling deflated. To cut a long story short it wasn't urticaria it was a gluten allergy as I found out myself some time after . Some thing I feel an expert like him should have thought off .

I went to see Dr David Shuttleworth with severe hormonal adult acne and eczema. I went in to see the Dr who was looking at his mobile phone and hand signalled for me to enter. He then carried on texting for what seemed like an age. When he did finally look at me and have a chat he hand wrote some notes on my condition and told me to come back when it got worse and that was all he could do for me. When I went to see the dr my face was approx. 40% covered by severe red acne and ezcema - I went as I've been losing sleep, confidence completely gone and got to the stage where it hurt and bled and needed more help than I could get on the NHS. I honestly felt like he laughed me out of the office. I wasn't in there with him for more than 5 minutes. Have since seen another dr (the same week) and am now on medication for severe dermatological issues, who was HORRIFIED that I was pretty much made to feel like an idiot by Dr Shuttleworth. Do your research and find another dr, do not waste your time.
